I have been practicing for 38 years and feel that my patients are my family. I really love getting to know them personally and always look forward to telling them a joke or two. I have been fortunate to meet some of the most amazing people through the care I provide. The patients and those that serve alongside me are the reason I love coming to work every day.
I feel very privileged to be able to do something for a living that makes people healthier and their smiles brighter. It is especially rewarding when I know I am helping people make the best choices concerning lifestyle. The right diet, healthy nutrition, and good practices mean everything to our long term well-being.
Ours is an office dedicated to quality, compassionate, gentle care. Though we have the latest technology, it is really our friendly staff and doctors and shared sense of mission that makes the difference.
The team here is unique in many ways. They are what make the Dental Health Center experience unlike any other. It is not uncommon for our staff to hang out together outside of work. We are all very close with one another. We like each other and work well together. The days here are enjoyable for us and that sense of relaxing ease comes through to our patients.
We have been told time and time again that people look forward to coming into the Dental Health Center for their appointments simply because they know they are going to have a lot of fun. Patients tend to stick around for a while after their procedure so they can continue to laugh and hang out with our doctors and staff. That’s not something a lot of people associate with a trip to the dentist.
I hope we have the opportunity to share smiles while caring for you soon.
Education and continuing education
I attended Marquette Dental School and graduated in 1979. Beyond general dentistry, my education includes orthodontics, laser dentistry, TMJ disorders, sedation dentistry, sleep apnea solutions, and much more.
To be the best doctor I can be for my patients, I strive to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices. It is for that reason that, in addition to pursuing structured continuing educational opportunities, I am an active member of the American Dental Association. Being involved with others in my profession and staying informed concerning the latest research and advances are a must if I am to provide top-quality care.
I also send my staff to continuing education courses at least once or twice a year. Our patients deserve only the most highly skilled and professional caregivers.
At home and away from work
I have two sons, Dr. Thomas and Aaron. I also have three beautiful grandchildren that are my world. By far, my favorite leisure activity is golf!
